Healthy Annuals & Veggies
Woodland Gardens offers a full range of annual plants, both ornamental and vegetable, ranging from the hot new varieties to favorite heirloom treasures.
In April, May , and June the greenhouses are overflowing with hanging baskets, mixed planters, potted annuals, herbs, and perennials.
Our plants are grown with loving care and we refrain from using any kind of chemical pesticide. Instead we rely on using beneficial insects and biological controls. The way nature keeps a balance.

Bourbon Rosemary Almonds

Chicken with Fresh Tarragon & Parsley
2 Tbsp. grated Parmesan cheese
¾ C. plus 1 Tbsp. stock (chicken or vegetable
2 Tbsp. flour
1 ½ tsp. chopped fresh tarragon
½ tsp. paprika
1 tsp. chicken bouillon crystals
¼ tsp. black pepper
½ clove crushed garlic
1 lb. boneless chicken breasts
1 ½ tsp. chopped fresh parsley
2 tsp. olive oil
1 ½ tsp. cornstarch
Combine the cheese, flour, paprika & pepper in shallow bowl. Coat both sides of the chicken with flour mixture.
Heat oil in skillet & brown the chicken slowly on both sides. Meanwhile mix ¾ cup stock, tarragon, bouillon & garlic together in small bowl. Pour stock mixture over browned chicken in skillet. Simmer covered over low heat 35 minutes, or until chicken is cooked thru.
While chicken is simmering, mix together 1 Tbsp. stock, parsley, & cornstarch. Transfer the cooked chicken from skillet to serving dish (keep warm in oven). Pour stock & cornstarch mixture into juices in skillet, stir until thickened & then pour over chicken.
